It is important to increase speed and quality of your decision-making and to reduce data latency. To cope with the abundance of signals influencing the supply chain, you should consider reducing human cognitive bias. This can only be achieved by adopting more data-driven planning principles.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Are companies embracing this new digital reality of sales and operations planning (S&amp;OP)? At the Marcus Evans event \u2018Cross-Functional Alignment through S&amp;OP\/IBP\u2019 last week in Amsterdam, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/edward-versteijnen-1b20121\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Edward Versteijnen<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/julia-meshalkina-62718912\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yulia Meshalkina<\/a> facilitated a workshop on this subject. Most participants agreed: <br \/><strong>It starts with getting access to the right data and creating powerful insights.
